West Ham – Away Kit 09/10

So, it has been revealed and is on sale, but what do I think about the new West Ham away kit. As with tradition it is a dark colour as last years was the lighter blue, so they have made this one navy blue. The stripe down the middle adds something “special” to the shirt I suppose but I honestly can’t see why we now have a kit that looks the same as Blackburns’ last away kit. However, I do like the design and I will wait to see if there is a new home shirt before I decide on whether to buy it or not, but it does seem like a good shirt and the response to it has been fantastic. The SBOBet sponsor sign in the middle looks a lot more classy than the patches we had to put up with for most of last season and it blends in with the shirt well. I can’t say the same for the junior versin though; the Bobby Moore Fund is a great thing but instead of putting it on the shirts I think the club should give a percentage of the shirt sales to the Bobby Moore fund because I personally feel that the junior shirt does not look great.

So what do you guys think?

I quite like it. It’s an innovative design with good colours. The only things I have slight criticism of are that the sponsor’s logo is slightly too big and I don’t really like the logo. I think it’s one of the better new kits we’ll see this year though.
